Purpose and Scope

Results.CSIWITS is an official web platform created for students of CSI Wesley Institute of Technology and Sciences under Regulation 18 (R18) and Regulation 22 (R22). The platform enables secure, user-friendly access to academic results and performance analytics.

Access and Usage

• Access is strictly limited to currently enrolled, eligible students with official credentials.
• Each student may view only their own results and academic analysis.
• It is strictly prohibited to share login details, attempt to access another user’s results, or allow unauthorized individuals to use your account.

Features & Functional Logic

• Personal Dashboard: Students can instantly view semester-wise results, backlog counts, and total backlogs in one interface.
• Multiple Results Feature: The dashboard aggregates all available semester results and backlog information for each student. SGPA is shown when a semester has no active backlogs. GPA remains provisional until all required credits are verified.
• Exclusion Policy: The platform does not display or upload Revaluation (RC/RV) results; only officially released semester results are available.

Security & Data Confidentiality

• Administrative features require authorized access. Keep your personal academic records private.
• Use print and PDF downloads for your own academic reference. Do not scrape, expose or misuse another student’s records.
• The result analysis and platform content must not be cloned, copied, or used as a mini/major project by any student, inside or outside the campus.
• Any misuse, unauthorized access, or attempts to breach security will result in immediate account suspension and possible disciplinary/legal action.

Methodology & Transparency

• The technical methodology (Python Django, PHP MyAdmin, MySQL) and data analysis logic are disclosed to CSI Wesley administration for transparency.
• All logic and calculations, including SGPA calculations, are subject to approval and periodic review by the institution.

Intellectual Property

• Results.CSIWITS, including all software, code, logic, design, and content, is the intellectual property of Mr. Jaya Chandra Karthikeyan and CSI Wesley Institute of Technology and Sciences.
• Replication, adaptation, or distribution of any part of the project without written consent is strictly prohibited.

Liability & Disclaimer

• Informational Tool: Results.CSIWITS is an informational tool. All results and analyses are provided for academic guidance only.
• No Blame Clause: The developer and campus shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, actions, or misunderstandings resulting from the use, interpretation, or accuracy of the results displayed.
• Users are strictly prohibited from blaming, filing grievances, or holding Results.CSIWITS, its developer, or campus staff responsible for technical errors, data discrepancies, or omissions.
• Users are encouraged to contact campus administration for any official clarification or dispute regarding results.

Policy Violations

• Any violation of these terms will result in suspension or permanent revocation of access, as well as disciplinary action in accordance with campus rules.

Amendments

• CSI Wesley Institute of Technology and Sciences reserves the right to update, modify, or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Usage & location

The portal records acknowledgement and result-search events linked to a random browser-session identifier. Session totals are not a count of verified individual students.

Browser location is requested when you accept the acknowledgement. Permission is optional. If allowed, approximate coordinates and the permission time are stored with usage activity; precise coordinates are rounded before submission. Administrators can view approximate areas and recent activity. Location may be unavailable or time out, and declining does not block results.

The usage-event records do not contain IP addresses, hall tickets or marks. This description applies to usage events; student academic records are stored separately. You can change location permission in your browser’s site settings.
